Nice job, Henry! I like it a lot.
So I guess you got to the Espada reading, yes? I looked for you, and when I went up to get my book signed, Mr. Espada said you were just there! (I told him that you were the one to turn me on to his poetry). I am so sorry I missed you! I thought that Espada was fantastic! I love the way he is so expressive and moves his body with the poem – it was very like music. So what did you think of the other poets? I liked some of the poems that Pinsky read, especially Shirt, which I had not heard before. It was very powerful, particularly when hearing it read. I didn’t expect to like him as much as I did.
